How do I sign up for a training class?

We have been experiencing difficulty with our online registration. If you attempt to sign up online and it does not work, please fill out one of your downloadable registration forms and either scan/email it back, snail mail it back, or drop it off at Ren Dogs. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. I have been working with our website hosts to get this corrected. It may work better on a computer. Please be sure to fill out all required fields.

Enjoy Your Dog Series

Come When Called 2 week seminar

This seminar is a two part series (1 hour each week) designed to show you how to train your dog to come back when called. Positive methods will be used. Only 5 students. The cost is $35 for the two weeks. 

Agility 2

Instructor: Rebecca Henderson

Starts April 25th at 8:00 PM

In this class we will continue to work on agility handling skills and introduce new obstacles such as the weaves poles, teeter, low dog walk, and double jump. Students will have the opportunity to run short sequences. This class is only open to Agility 1 graduates. 

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy

This is a puppy skills and responsible dog ownership class. The class will cover Come, Sit, Down, Wait, Leave it, Bite Inhibition, and Socialization skills as well as the exercises necessary to take the AKC S.T.A.R. puppy test.

Extraordinary Puppy Training

In this class, your instructor will introduce you and your puppy to the positive reinforcement, clicker training method. We will cover the same foundation skills and topics taught in our traditional puppy class in preparation for the AKC S.T.A.R. puppy test. Come have some fun with your pup and learn how to "Click and Treat" for good behaviors! 6 Weeks $100

Join us for our basic level training course designed to teach you and your dog foundation skills and behaviors.  We will explore the use of positive reinforcement clicker training. Your dog will learn skills such as giving attention to its handler, offering a behavior, responding to a cue, self-control and targeting. As the owner, you will learn skills for successful training to include clicker mechanics, the power of positive reinforcement, observation, cueing and shaping. This class will cover basic behaviors such as Sit, Down, Settle, Wait, Mine/Take It (Leave It), Name Game, Polite Walking, Recall, Targeting, Capturing & Shaping Games. First week - Orientation. Students only; no dogs. 6 Weeks $100 

Shape It! - Advanced Shaping Behavior

Come have some fun and learn the science and art of clicker training tricks and behavior chains to your dog. We will explore how dogs learn and the capturing and shaping techniques used to train simple and complex tricks like Paw Targeting, Ring a Bell, 101 Things to Do With a Box, Down on a Business Card, Play Dead, Army Crawl, Sit Pretty and so much more! First week - Orientation. Students only; no dogs. Pre-requisite - Training Foundations class or pre-approval by instructor. 6 Weeks $100 ​

Levels Basic Obedience

Our version of basic obedience that includes working at your own pace. The class will cover come when called, sit, down, wait, leave it, keeping a dog from jumping up, and lots more. This class is the perfect place to start with a dog older than 20 weeks. This class is taught using positive reinforcement techniques. Clicker training is supported and encouraged, but clickers are not required. This class is taught on Sundays and requires some flexibility of timing on Sundays. As you progress (at your own pace) your class times will change to accommodate the level you are training. 5 weeks - $100

Canine Good Citizen
This is a preparation class for those interested in testing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen title.  Canine Good Citizens are counted on to present good manners at home, in public and around other dogs.  The CGC test assesses the handler and dog's relationship, together with the handler's ability to control the dog.  The test is non-competitive and allows dog and handler to demonstrate confidence and control in 10 steps. All breeds and mixes are welcome and eligible to earn the American Kennel Club’s “CGC” title!

Test 4: Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)

​Focused, Fearless, and Fun!
An enjoyable ‘first class’ experience or as a bridging experience from STAR Puppy Class to all future skill-focused classes.  Class will offer opportunities to build focus and impulse control as well as increase body awareness and sensory confidence.  Ideal for creating confident companions as well as dog/handler teams that are working toward competition. All breeds and mixes are welcome. Not suitable for aggressive dogs.

Beginner's Rally
Rally is a sport where human/canine teams work to perform obedience skills along a predetermined course marked with signs. Unlike traditional obedience, teams are encouraged to talk, praise, and encourage their canine partner throughout the course. Rally is a fun sport for all ages and breeds.

An enjoyable bridging experience from Puppy Training to all future skill-focused classes. Learn how to build your dog's focus and impulse control as well as increase body awareness and sensory confidence. Learn about training techniques such as capturing, shaping and cueing. Ideal for creating confident companions as well as dog/handler teams working towards competition. Dogs will experience through, on, over, under, around and in objects, sounds, and smells. Suitable for dogs over 20 weeks old. All breeds and mixes are welcome. 4 Weeks $75

Proof of age-appropriate rabies and distemper vaccines required.

  • puppy classes are exempt from rabies requirement
  • the Bordetella vaccine is suggested but not required
  • proof of vaccines due on first day of class


A 50% deposit is required to hold your place in any class.

The remainder of the class fee is due on the first day of class.

Competition Agility

Rebecca has been competing in agility for 6 years and now offers a competition class. We work on handling skills, contacts, obstacle discrimination, and many more skills to get one ready for the competition ring. New students are welcome with permission of the instructor. Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
